New Old Stock. Never used, never installed. Amber-colored, factory-applied assembly grease will be visible and present.
Each set includes all the original and correct parts to completely refurbish either 1 front or 1 rear Campagnolo Nuovo Record, Super Record, or Record track hub, except for the actual ball bearings. (If you need the ball bearings too, they can be included for $4 extra.)
All parts also interchange perfectly with C-Record hubs (the ones with the conical aluminum dustcaps) except for the thin black locknuts.
Can also be used to convert a normal road (Strada) hub into a track hub. In the case of the front hub, there is no difference in the hub shell, so the conversion will be absolute and perfect. In the case of the rear hub, the shells are different so, although you cannot make a true rear track hub out of a rear road hub, the road hub can nonetheless be very usefully converted to single-speed, or even (if the fixed cog and a BB lockring are carefully Loctited® into place) into a reliable fixed-gear application.
Alloy-steel axle is Campagnolo's proprietary English-Metric hybrid threading: 9mm x 26 tpi front, or 10mm x 26 tpi x 156mm overall rear. Amazingly precise machining; beautiful finish and chroming even on the contoured axle ends, as only Campagnolo does it. Axle center engraved BREV INTER CAMP. Cones and (the thin, black) locknuts are engraved CAM and also with either their threading spec. or their year (last 2 digits) of manufacture.
